Sarah Fenton
BSC (hons) Sports Rehabilitation

With a passion for helping others achieve their goals, Sarah began her career in the fitness industry as a personal trainer in 2011. In 2012 qualified as a level 4 sports massage therapist and has been treating clients ever since. With a keen interest in returning clients to their sport or just improve their activity of daily living she increased her knowledge in the rehabilitation and prevention of injury by completing a Pilates instructor course, before embarking upon a bachelor’s degree in Sport Rehabilitation at the University of Hull. This provided the opportunity to gain valuable experience working in both a clinical and sporting environment in the field of football, rugby and tennis. Sarah is currently working on a self employed basis and as part of a team at Warners Health Club & Physio.

BSc in Sport Rehabilitation - University of Hull
Sarah graduated from the University of Hull in 2021 with a first-class honours degree in sport rehabilitation and was recognised by the university as the highest achiever for the course in this year!
At university Sarah developed the skills to enable the delivery of immediate care at a pitch side where a significant numbers of sporting injuries or medical problems can occur.

Level 3 Mat Based Pilates Instructor
The Pilates method was first developed to rehabilitate injured personnel during the first world war and is still used to this day as a rehabilitation and injury prevention tool to improve strength, posture and flexibility. Sarah qualified as a Pilates instructor in 2018 and enjoys teaching groups and private clients.

Completed in 2012 to aid the recovery of non acute injuries and pre-existing conditions.

Sarah began her career in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and soon developed a passion for helping others achieve a variety of goals. This led to completing courses including pre and post natal and becoming a kettlebell instructor!
